Mid Iowa Behavioral Services recognizes that the journey toward recovery is an
ongoing process. Recognizing that everyone has specific needs and goals, treatment is
customized to specific life situations. The disease of addiction affects the whole family
in very destructive ways. This destructive cycle must be broken so that the journey
toward recovery can begin.

Clinicians use best practice approaches to treat individuals that include but are not
limited to a cognitive behavioral approach, 12 step approaches, trauma informed care,
and motivational interviewing. We pride ourselves on tailoring a treatment plan that best
fits the client.

All treatment services are provided by licensed and certified professionals. MIBS is
accredited and licensed by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services to treat
both adolescents and adults.
